We are  Agrocare  Foundation Our journey started in 2006. Mr. Kandaiah and 09 other Social Workers joined hands and started a humble effort that has today taken the shape of a 50 member strong organization working for positive change. We started with our flagship program for correction and rehabilitation of the Tsunami effected areas for Andaman &  Nicobar Islands.

Agrocare Foundation focuses on core issues essential to sustainable social development of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Agrocare Foundation is committed to livelihood improvements of resource poor farmers through eco friendly farming system Soon, the need to adopt an integrated approach was felt and we started to reach out to other left out sections of the society as well. In the year 2011 we were registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860 by the registrar of Joint Stock companies, Port Blair Andaman & Nicobar Islands vide registration No.1412.

Since then we have grown from strength to strength.

At present our projects are running at Namunaghar, Mitha Khari, Ferrargunj, Wandoor in South Andaman of Port Blair and rural areas of Diglipur.

Our scope of work covers a wide spectrum of developmental issues ranging from formal and non formal education for children, women and youth, vocational training, Rurul Development, Agricultural Development, micro credit, community participation, health care, environment, family counseling.

We undertake projects for development in rural areas through training of self help groups as well as Panchayat leaders.
